Porthole indicators are transparent plastic devices with humidity indicators used to periodically inspect the moisture levels inside a barrier packaging.
Their use allows for verifying the packaging’s effectiveness and the saturation status of the desiccant packets contained within. If the humidity indicator shows a relative humidity level higher than expected, it indicates there are leaks in the packaging or that the desiccant reached saturation and need replacement.
